Instructions for the labels

1. print

I would recommend you to print them in paper or in cardboard (if your printer allows you to do this)

TIP FOR THE WHITE LABELS! You can get the minimalist look of the photos by printing them onto white paper or cardboard but you can also make them be ANY COLOR you like if you print them onto color paper or cardboard!

If you want to make them into cards:

Laminate them for extra durability (see step 2) and to make them waterproof (works great for pantry labels and medicine cabinet labels)

OR

use clear name tags to hang them from the baskets (see step 4).

If you want to make them into sticker labels:

You can print the labels onto normal paper and use clear tape to stick them to the bottles or containers or you can print them onto sticker paper.

If this is the case please make sure you use inkjet sticker paper for inkjet printers and laser sticker paper for laser printers.

These are not interchangeable. Inkjet sticker paper melts when you use it on a laser printer. If you want to use your laser printer to print stickers, make sure you get the appropriate laser-friendly sticker paper.

2. optional

You can laminate them for extra support and durability.

3. CUTTING

CUT THEM ALONG THE EDGE

You can use scissors or you can use a paper cutter or paper guillotine to make sure all the edges are perfectly straight and neat.

4. start labelling

– You can use blu-tack or two sided tape to stick them to the baskets/drawers/other surfaces.

– You can put them into rectangular clear name-tags and clip them to your baskets. This will make them easy to change, which is perfect for a closet where there is a lot of turn over (kids are always outgrowing their clothes)
