Welcome JANUARY!

Let’s make 2021 a good year!

The one thing I like best about January is the sensation of new beginnings. I think it’s empowering. This months is one of the best moments of the year for gaining momentum to take on your goals and purposes.

Two of my new year’s resolutions are HEALTH and getting free of DIGITAL CLUTTER. If these two goals are among your purposes too check out the Self-Care Routine and the Digital Decluttering Checklist I made for you!

Love,

Anne.

Welcome december!

And so it began… the last month of the year.

We can’t say that 2020 has been an easy year. But it sure has taught us many things.

It has taught us to be present. We always heard “there is no past and no future, there is only now”. Maybe we liked that quote, maybe we even had it as background in our phones to inspire us. But this year we were forced to learn how to put it into practice. We have finally learned to take it one day at a time.

It has taught us to discern what is truly important. That the value does not reside in WHAT we have but in WHO we have by our side.

It has made our inner world richer. Some of you may have even discovered something you didn’t know about you: A new hobby, a hidden passion or purpose. If not, rest assured that the ability to have made it through this difficult time is already something to be proud of.

2020 has definitely been an intense year and I’m sure many of you are wishing for it to be over. As true as that might be, there are still a few days left. Let’s make them as cheerful and loving as we can, even in the virtual distance.

Love,

Anne.

1. print

I would recommend you to print them in paper or in cardboard (if your printer allows you to do this)

TIP FOR THE WHITE LABELS! You can get the minimalist look of the photos by printing them onto white paper or cardboard but you can also make them be ANY COLOR you like if you print them onto color paper or cardboard!

If you want to make them into cards:

Laminate them for extra durability (see step 2) and to make them waterproof (works great for pantry labels and medicine cabinet labels)

OR

use clear name tags to hang them from the baskets (see step 4).

If you want to make them into sticker labels:

You can print the labels onto normal paper and use clear tape to stick them to the bottles or containers or you can print them onto sticker paper.

If this is the case please make sure you use inkjet sticker paper for inkjet printers and laser sticker paper for laser printers.

These are not interchangeable. Inkjet sticker paper melts when you use it on a laser printer. If you want to use your laser printer to print stickers, make sure you get the appropriate laser-friendly sticker paper.

2. optional

You can laminate them for extra support and durability.

3. CUTTING

CUT THEM ALONG THE EDGE

You can use scissors or you can use a paper cutter or paper guillotine to make sure all the edges are perfectly straight and neat.

4. start labelling

– You can use blu-tack or two sided tape to stick them to the baskets/drawers/other surfaces.

– You can put them into rectangular clear name-tags and clip them to your baskets. This will make them easy to change, which is perfect for a closet where there is a lot of turn over (kids are always outgrowing their clothes)

Saving thousands in 3 months may sound like a fairy tale to you right now, but it is possible and I’m going to take you step-by-step through what I did to achieve it! It seemed impossible to me a few months back!

Do you make a budget plan as a new years/new month resolution only to abandon it a few weeks/days in? It’s impossible to stay perfectly on track 24/7 – but the StatiANNEry Kakebo is the solution to this problem!

Kakebo (pronounced “kah-keh-boh”) is a Japanese word meaning “book of accounts for household economy”. ⁣

Kakebo is a simple but effective method to reduce mindless spending and start saving (a lot) of money. ⁣
There are many versions of the Kakebo, from super simple to slightly complicated. I’ve created a simple yet effective version for you!⁣

Does your bank account spark joy? If you use the Kakebo it soon will!

I’m sure you’re familiar with #konmari philosophy. In this same lines, filling in your Kabebo (‘book of accounts for household economy’) is not only a practical habit (you write down your finances and get your priorities in order) but also a wellbeing enhancing activity as the Japanese believe that mindfully saving, spending and monitoring your money leads to balance and calm in all areas of your life.
